Shane is the field general at American Carpet Cleaning. When you encounter his kind confidence, you know right way it’s going to get solved. As master of his craft, Shane’s forgotten more about cleaning than most carpet masters have ever known. When not working, Shane loves hunting, fishing, 3D printing, riding his Harley, and sliding Razer off-road vehicles on his property.

Hi, we’re Shane & Christina Bretz!
We LOVE having a clean, fresh smelling, healthy home.
However, as an active couple with dogs and kids, that can be easier said than done. Back in the 1990s as newlyweds, it seemed like every time we dealt with carpet cleaning, “affordable” actually meant “mediocre” and cost an arm and a couple of legs when it was high quality.
This drove us NUTS! We knew it had to be possible to get affordable carpet cleaning done with excellence. But that was easier said than done, too.
Finally, one day in the late 1990s, we looked at each other and realized we were going to have to do it ourselves.
Always loving a challenge, we purchased American Carpet Cleaning in 1997 because we wanted to provide excellent carpet, tile, and upholstery cleaning EVERYONE could afford.
We started in Wooster, but demand grew so we branched out to Ashland and recently Mansfield.
Proudly serving Ashland, Wayne, and Richland Counties, American Carpet Cleaning is just getting started. You’ve probably seen our vans go by!
To this day, we’re proudly owner operated. Even as we’ve grown into a company with a robust facility and multiple vehicles, it still means everything to us to work in the business, EVERY DAY.
We sponsor the Ashland baseball team and have a banner hanging on the fence which you can see at games!
